Patience in Waiting
"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength."

Lord of time,
I sometimes wait for important things: an answer, a change, healing. This waiting can be long and trying. Impatience gnaws at me.
Give me patience in waiting. The ability to live fully in the present even when I hope for a different future. Not to put my life on hold waiting for something to happen.
May I trust Your timing, even when it doesn't match mine. Sometimes waiting itself is a time of necessary preparation, of maturation.
