December 9th
Light in the Darkness
"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light."
— Isaiah 9:1
Light of the world,
December is the darkest month of the year. Days are short, nights are long. Yet it is in this darkness that we await the Light.
Thank You for this promise of light. For You who come to illuminate our darkness, dispel our fears, light up our paths.
May I be a bearer of light. In this sometimes dark world, may I reflect Your light, may I light the way for others.
Amen.

Reflection
How can you be light in the darkness around you? For whom can you be a light?
For all those living in darkness.
