Growing Joy

God of joy,
Christmas is approaching. Joy is rising, the waiting becomes more intense. The celebration of Your coming is almost here.
Thank You for this growing joy. For this happy anticipation, for this hope that becomes more tangible day after day.
May my joy be deep. Not the superficial joy of gifts and decorations, but the deep joy of knowing that You are coming, that You are near.
