Patience in the Last Days

Lord,
Only three more days. The waiting becomes almost unbearable. I want Christmas to already be here, for the waiting to end.
Give me patience for these last days. May I not rush, may I savor this waiting, may I fully live each moment.
Waiting is part of the joy. May I not skip steps, may I appreciate this time of final preparation.
