Courageous Witness
"You will be my witnesses."

Lord,
The day after Christmas, I think of all those who have witnessed to You with courage, sometimes at the cost of their lives. Their witness reminds us that following Christ can be costly.
Thank You for these courageous witnesses. For their unwavering faith, for their forgiveness even in the face of persecution. They show us the way of faithfulness.
Give me this courage. To witness even when it's difficult, to forgive even when it's unjust, to remain faithful no matter the cost.
Amen.
