Responsibility
"Each one should carry their own load."
— Galatians 6:5
Lord,
It is tempting to blame others for my difficulties, to see myself as a victim of circumstances. But You call me to responsibility: to recognize my part in what happens to me.
Help me take ownership of my choices, their consequences, my mistakes as well. Not to needlessly blame myself, but to recognize my power to act, my capacity to change things.
Give me the discernment to distinguish what depends on me and what is beyond me. May I stop carrying what is not my burden, but fully assume what is my responsibility.
Amen.

Reflection
In what situation do you tend to play the victim? How could you take back your power by owning your share of responsibility?
For those who struggle to take responsibility and reclaim their power.
