Perseverance in Adversity
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Lord of strength,
Adversity sometimes strikes hard. Trials pile up, difficulties persist, and I feel on the verge of giving up. How can I continue when everything seems against me?
Give me the strength to persevere in adversity. Not a rigid resistance that breaks, but a flexibility that bends without breaking. The strength to get up after each fall, to seek a new path when the road is blocked.
Remind me that adversity does not last forever, that every night has its dawn, that You are with me in the storm. With Your strength, I can hold on until the calm returns.
