Patience with the Process

"The farmer waits for the precious crop from the land, being patient with it."

— James 5:7

Lord of patience,

I want immediate results, instant changes, rapid transformations. But growth takes time, like a plant that grows slowly, invisible at first.

Give me patience with the process. The ability to accept that some things cannot be rushed, that maturation takes its time, that every step is necessary.

May I trust the rhythm of life, even when it seems too slow. May I celebrate small progress rather than become discouraged because the goal seems far away. Step by step, I walk toward my destination.

Amen.

Reflection

In what area of your life are you impatient? How could you honor the process rather than only looking at the result?

For those who are impatient and need to accept the rhythm of growth.
