Repairing Relationships
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
— Romans 12:18
God of peace,
There are damaged relationships in my life, stretched bonds, burned bridges. Sometimes through open conflict, sometimes through gradual distancing. These ruptures weigh on me.
Give me the courage to try to repair what can be repaired. To reach out, to take the first step, to open dialogue. Not to force an impossible reconciliation, but to do my part.
Even if the other doesn't respond, even if the relationship cannot be restored, help me have done what depended on me. May I live at peace with myself, knowing that I tried.
Amen.

Reflection
Is there a relationship you would like to repair? A simple message of openness, without expectation, can sometimes open a door.
For all those experiencing relational ruptures who desire reconciliation.
