Voluntary Simplicity
"Give us today our daily bread."
— Matthew 6:11
Lord of simplicity,
I live in a culture of overconsumption. Always more, always new, never satisfied. This race tires me and doesn't bring the promised happiness.
Teach me voluntary simplicity. To be content with what I truly need, to choose quality over quantity, to prioritize experience over possession.
May I find freedom in stripping away, joy in having little, richness in the essential. Fewer things, more life. Less noise, more peace.
Amen.

Reflection
What could you get rid of to simplify your life? What clutters your space and your mind?
For all those crushed under the weight of their possessions.
