Authenticity in Relationships
"Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor."
— Ephesians 4:25
God of truth,
My relationships are sometimes superficial. I wear a mask, I play a role, I hide what I really feel. This inauthenticity creates a painful distance.
Give me the courage of authenticity in my relationships. To dare show who I really am, to express what I sincerely feel, to create real connections.
May I find those people with whom I can be fully myself, without a mask. And may I be that safe person who allows others to be authentic too.
Amen.

Reflection
In which relationships are you truly yourself? How could you be more authentic in your relationships?
For all those who feel alone even when surrounded, seeking authentic connections.
