Attention to Others
"Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."

Lord,
I am easily self-centered, absorbed in my own concerns. I miss the needs of others, their joys and their sorrows.
Teach me attention to others. To truly see the people I encounter, to listen to what is said and unsaid, to notice who needs a smile, a word, help.
May I step out of my bubble to enter the world of others. This attention is a precious gift, a concrete way of loving.
