Healthy Pride
"Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone."
— Galatians 6:4
Lord,
I learned that humility meant not being proud of myself. But there is a healthy pride: recognizing my accomplishments, celebrating my strengths, appreciating myself fairly.
Teach me healthy pride. Not the arrogance that compares and boasts, but this quiet recognition of what I have accomplished, of who I have become, of the path traveled.
May I be proud of myself without false modesty or misplaced pride. Recognizing my successes is part of self-love.
Amen.

Reflection
What are you proud of in your life? Take a moment to recognize it and celebrate it inwardly.
For all those who never allow themselves the right to be proud of themselves.
