Detachment
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth."

Lord,
I easily become attached to things, situations, people. I want to keep, possess, control. And when I lose, I suffer from this attachment.
Teach me wise detachment. Not cold indifference, but this freedom of heart that knows how to appreciate without clinging, love without possessing.
May I hold things with a light hand. Be grateful for what I have without being enslaved to it, ready to let go of what must go.
