Humility
"God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."
— James 4:6
Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge before You my limits, my fragilities, my needs. I am neither all-powerful nor perfect. I need others, I need You. This acknowledgment is not humiliation but liberation.
Teach me true humility, the kind that allows me to accept my weaknesses without shame, to acknowledge my wrongs without making excuses, to receive help from others without wounded pride.
Keep me from the pride that isolates and from the false modesty that hides. May I walk simply, with my truth, recognizing who I am with both my strengths and my limitations.
Amen.

Reflection
Humility is not diminishing yourself; it is seeing yourself accurately. In what area do you have trouble admitting you need help?
For those who carry the burden of pride or false modesty.
