Patience
"Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
— John 14:27
God of patience and peace,
In a world that always moves too fast, where everything must be immediate, I come to ask You for the gift of patience. Patience with myself, with my limits and my slowness. Patience with others, who don't think or act as I do. Patience with life, which follows its own rhythm, not mine.
Help me accept that everything has its time: a time to sow and a time to reap, a time to learn and a time to understand. Keep me from the haste that breeds mistakes, from the impatience that wounds relationships.
Teach me to see each delay, each wait, not as a constraint, but as an invitation to breathe, to contemplate, to grow.
Amen.

Reflection
Patience is not inaction; it is a quiet strength. Today, in what situation could you choose to slow down rather than rush?
For all those going through a difficult period of waiting.
