The Inner Light

Lord of light,
I pray that You would rekindle in me that inner flame which sometimes flickers. When discouragement overwhelms me, when I doubt my worth, remind me that I carry within me a divine spark.
You created me unique, with my talents, my gifts, my own way of loving and serving. Help me not to bury this light under the weight of comparisons, the fear of judgment, or my own self-criticism.
Give me the boldness to shine simply by being myself, to share my gifts without calculation, to light the way for others through my caring presence. May my life be a small lighthouse in someone's night.
